I just got off the horn with Samsung support and was told they disabled web access on these cams with firmware a couple years back. They told me that making a change on their internet portal doesn't actually change anything on the camera either.
I need to lower the frame-rate (he was pretty sure that wasn't actually an option on these cameras) but I still want to get in a see what is possible.
Anyone have any idea how to change the settings on those cameras now?
Also, its appears they are using an insecure version of TLS, that is the error I get trying to connect so that makes me wonder if all the traffic going outside to their portal is using a broken version of TLS over the internet. At least locally I have a firewall block someone accessing it.
I am done with Samsung products. They do not support them at all. Same with their Tablets.. I hate to say it but I will probably buy and iPad to replace my samsung. -Bill
