Amcrest Surveillance Pro will log into and manage some Dahua and Lorex cameras. It's doing fine with mine, and it reports the model numbers.
But with some significant limitations. For example, it will not export/save configuration files from my Dahua OEM and Lorex cameras. I need to do that from a Windows browser.

Also found that program provides a ton of other information. I have an oddball camera and could not determine the rtsp address. It will find it for you.

I have not seen this utility mentioned before on this site, and thought it might be helpful. It provides a ridiculous amount of information about the camera. Use it on an offline computer if there are any security concerns.
