Firmware for DS-7204HI-SL

Hi,

I am looking for firmware to upgrade DS-7204HI-SL. I believe I can't use any 7204 firmware right?

Can I use this firmware

Thanks for your reply. HIKvision make it very confusing for their firmware. Can I use any firmware with DVR 7204 on it or it must be matched exactly? Like HI-SL? What does those stands for anyway? Thanks!

I'm sorry - I'm not familiar with that model range, I don't know the answer.
In an ideal world, the firmware update process would properly validate what was being attempted and block anything incompatible. But we know we can't rely on that with Hikvision.

7204HI-SL... I am amazed that Hikvision still manufactures/sells CIF analog recorders.

It seems to be even lower than their low end products... This is the firmware you are looking for, 2.2.17 from May/2015. That will probably be the last firmware update for that unit.
