Hi Guys
Hope all well. I might be shunned for looking at this: http://www.flir.com/security/display/?id=72260
I understand flir IP is: http://www.dahuatech.com ?
is the Nvr software identical?

I live in south africa, crime is a problem. I am looking for a drop in solution. Any other recommendations on any other better kit will be great. Im a noob.

Basically what I want, is the NVR should close a a relay on event trigger. For the life of me I cant find what relay Flir recommends for the IO out. From what I can see a resistor should also be in the relay circuit? I hope to close a 24VDC 3A cicuit.

Not too much literature on the , thanks guys, need some advice. Before I get murdered. Ha ha.
Thanks in advance,
Also have is avtech with eagle eyes? That service they ping to your phone looks pretty neat.

I couldn't find a manual for your system, but I am confident that your alarm output can handle a 12VDC relay. I would also think the contact can break at least 1A. I don't see why you would need a resistor. Just connect positive to one side of the NVR output contact, the other side of the this contact to one side of the relay coil, other side of the relay coil to negative. Now do what ever you want with the relay output contact. Just make sure it is rated for the voltage and current you are driving.
