I had no idea we had flying squirrels. For some reason, this one decided to swoop down and land on my camera bird house mounted to a tree. Maybe the large limb that fell just before this in my driveway spooked him.

Very, very cool. My favorite local critter. We have some here too but haven't been able to catch one on cam. Never knew they were around here either until I was out in the yard late one night and saw one glide by.

A psycho little cat that we had caught one once and brought it in the house and it was zooming all around.

Stuck the landing... but a 6.8 by the East Germain judge. What camera recorded this?

Finally captured one! Unfortunately on the wrong cam and very quick. Just set it up as an LPR cam so only a white silhouette for 1 second.
