A white ford truck is driving suspiciously by my house. A neighbor post a ring video of some idiots out to kill someone. Is it the same Truck?
The home owner got the license plate and reported it to the police. HTZ 6439. I can make out htz64, so i think it is the idiots.White plate of some sort on the front, toolbox sitting above the bed, bedliner on the driver side, but not the tailgate in both videos.
Well i have something for the gang bangers so i'm not worried about that. I will be adding two dedicated LPR in a few weeks. As for now my SD49225T is doing LPR duty. I know exactly where i will be placing the LPR cams as i will be adding two. I will post my LPR setup in the LPR section. After these idiots passed my house they went around the corner which is where they began smashing trash cans. I would not have known anything had i not recieved a message from the ring neighbors app i have on my phone. That's where i saw the video my neighbor posted. I do not have any ring cameras at my house. But i did just install the Ring alarm system which is great. I was just shocked at how early in the morning these idiots were out drunk on drugs or both. He hit the curb as he made the turn in front of my house. I am just glad they didn't hit my trash bins.Yes. Look at the tow bar, very distinctive gooseneck style design. Also, it's a Texas registration although as you said probably stolen. Again, from your other video, you need a dedicated LPR pointed sufficiently down the road that the angle gets a clear shot of the plates. ATM it looks as if your best camera for plates is at the corner with the stop signs and apart from not being zoomed enough, the angle relative to the corner means you never get a full plate shot of any vehicle thats turning. I'd gt one pointing down the back road behind your house as it's nice, clear and open, and pointed and zoomed maybe 25yds down the road, you should have a good angle for a full plate shot. Simialr outside the front of your house although it looks to me as if your best angle here is between the two trees to the left of your driveway.
PS be careful of running out to these idiots. Could be gang bangers looking to prove themsleves via initiation.
Ha, you are so right. The good thing about all of this, it exposes the weaknesses in your camera setup. I am on my 3rd round of cameras.![]()

Yes it was someone in my neighborhood, who lives on the next street over from mine. He posted his video on ring, so after i saw his ring video i decided to check my footage from that time stamp to see if they passed my house and there they were. i just pasted the video on my feed to see if the truck was the same and indeed it was the same truck.I think I confused your neighbours front with yours. It's his video where they're smashing the cans. Don't know your front layout.
Who knows, drunk, high, and stupid assholes.Hmmm. Maybe it's not stolen and they were just drunk and being assholes?
He wasn't home so i will check with him later this evening, i will post back what he says.Did your neighbor get any response from HPD?
No if you listen you will here the cans being hit in the background. That got his attention, so he began watching them.Maybe i missed something in the video but it looked like your neighbor was suspicious of the vehicle well before it hit the trash cans. Maybe he was already on the lookout or watching his back from them based on a previous incident?
