Hi everybody!

I have installed in my house 5 Foscam IP cameras and they work properly since last 10 years. Suddenly one month ago they stopped sending me e-mail in case of motion detection. I tested within the camera's menu and it gave me the message "TLS certificate verification failed: unable to get local issuer certificate". I set for sender my yahoo account and receiver my Gmail one. Can somebody helpme to resolve the problem because in this situation my cameras have lost their main capability and bacame useless.
Thanks in advance

Here is my cameras info

Spiros, I have 16 cameras from Foscam. I have spoken to the manufacturer and they are no help. They steered me to their own propriety cloud based solutions. I went for the bait . I added it on a few of the cameras and they gave me a promotion for a few. Tested it for a few momths thinking there would be a software update from Foscam soon.
Although not perfect the Cloud solution works, and I needed motion detection immediately. the replay is clunky and I much prefferd getting an email with 3 photos through the SMTP.
I have used, Google, Yahoo, Yahoo Plus, and 3 different email server solutions in test mode last week.
NONE of them worked with all different SMTP settings and levels of security.
I suspect we either use Foscam Cloud as a solution or find someone who can explain a work around.
Oddly, my Hik vision NVR works at two locations with the exact same SMTP settings, and a 15 year old camera I bought on amazon for $15 works. BUT not my 16 Foscams....I am just as frustrated as you.

My money is on too many emails in a short time frame so yahoo decided they were spam.
If disabling outgoing email or 24 hours does NOT allow them to work again, consider sending with Gmail BUT enable 2FA and set up an app password for the cams to use.

Tony Great suggestion. I used the GMail for the first time today, so I didnt need to wait the 24 hours. Set it up with 2FA and app password. And unfortunately still not working. Very frustrating.

Please don't spam the forum on every post with foscam in it. You posted, now wait for people to see it.
