Anyone here using no-ip for free every have it not work once in a while? I can log into my account and all is good but when i use OpenVPN it can't find my router even though it's online and working great.

yeah that is what i am using.
on another router i use username.ddns.net and it works fine.
Does this happen very often?

Well I just bought this Netgear router about a month ago and this is the first time it has been down. Notice that you can put in multiple remote addresses in the OpenVPN client config file.....if you have more than one. Hopefully it is a short term outage.
I have had my netgear router for a long time but only just recently using it's VPN a few months ago.
