Front entry camera.

I'm building a system and I'm almost done. Just need to decide on which camera for front door entry way. It's ten foot wide and about eight foot deep. Eight foot tall. I'd like to have face recognition. What camera style and resolution and location would be the best. I was thinking 2.8mm in a dome, mini dome or turret. Not sure if it would be better to mount above door, on ceiling or side view.
