I have an FTP server (also supports SMB) that ideally would want to record in addition of going to the 'New' folder. If not possible, at least back up clips per camera basis. I have been looking at Blue Iris Cloud because I am sure it's the same sort of setup and for this I have a couple of questions.
1. I record continuous video. 'Queue new clips for backup' doesn't seem to be doing anything as far as uploading to the FTP server. Do I need to switch to 'Continuous sub + triggered'? If so, what does sub mean?
2. In the storage tab of BI, lets say for the New folder, if I configure FTP backup - does that simply move the older files of that folder to FTP or does it record to there as well (which is what I want). Also what does 'Queue for backup' mean? If I leave it unchecked, it still uploads clips to the FTP server so I see its optional but not sure what it does exactly.
I just want to record footage to off-site and want to have everything synced as close as possible in real time.
Thanks
