Getting comfortable
My eyes kept focusing on the bottom right panel. It took me about two minutes to see the big picture.

Our house two houses back had a sliding glass door installed backwards. All one had to do was lift up the door from the outside and remove the door to get in. Instead of reinstalling the door I just installed security locks on it. It is now someone else's problem...
This notched Security Hinge prevents someone from removing the door even if the Pin is removed, the door won't be able to slide out...
Funny, I was just looking at these on my exterior doors the other day. I've known they were of that type since we built in '06 but I was standing there waiting on Sophie, a 12 y/o rescued Chi-mix, to finish up her "business" and come back in. She and I have a ritual where we go out and "get the mail", even on Sundays.
There was talk of these hinges in a Thread where someone drilled a hole on one side of the hinge and put a nail on the other side so the nail's head would be in the drilled hole side, which does the same thing as these Security Hinges.
