Not exactly funny but I am being satirical here when I say "Man, I can hardly wait until another great government web site gets updated and improved by using ID.me like the VA did."
I get an e-mail after midnight telling me I have a message on the SSA site but when I attempt to log in and read it I get the old "not available".
Government efficiency at it's best. But I'm confident they will "upgrade and improve it" soon, likely about the time it starts to function well.
Trying the above gets me this gem:

Tell me about it.
I can't create enough "white noise" that will allow me to successfully unscrew the jar lid and pour out a handful of dry roasted peanuts without finding myself suddenly scrutinized by 4 pairs of Chihuahua eyeballs with that "how dare you not give us some" stare.
That T-top Camaro could easily be a '76, so if she was 16 then she'd be 64 now and may even be somebody's GREAT grandma!
