I know the younger people here probably won't get this one.
And that was an improvement over the 8 track tapes I had before that.
I was one of the lucky once that made the choice for cassettes over 8 track right off. Not that it matters in the grand scheme of things. Everything turns into ancient technology sooner or later. 
I remember 1960's - we might have a nuclear bomb attack so get under your desk (they should have added 'and kiss your ass goodbye').

Wow, this was back in the day when you could kill yourself by eating fast food without murdering your wallet., fried hot apple pies were made with real apples and the contents stuck to the roof of your mouth and burned the shit out of it, people who worked there did it because it was their first job and knew it wasn't a lifelong career choice....and their ice cream machines weren't broken......
