How do I interpret the Dahua fw revisions?
One of my cams is a HFW5231E-Z12E currently running 2.620.0000002.0.R, Build Date: 2017-08-30
On Dahua's site, I see:
DH_IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea_MultiLang_PN_Stream3_V2.800.0000008.0.R.190619
and
DH_IPC-HX5X3X-Rhea_MultiLang_NP_Stream3_V2.800.0000008.0.R.190619
I assume the NP/PN is language related, but I'm guessing.
I looked through the files but didn't find any documentation other than the fact it does list my model.
Just for grins, I extracted and installed the updated webplugin on my pc to no ill effect.
Is there anywhere I can look for some sort of change log?
Seems like a big time interval between revs, but that doesn't mean much if the model was already mature.
