So I have had my 5216 a few weeks now and several cameras. I a, getting the hang of the NVR and camera settings. Under storage and schedule I have all channels set for General, MD and IVS for 7x24 and I have pre-record set to 30 seconds on all channels. I am pretty sure I know what the answer is going to be, but wanted to ask to be sure. I notice when events are triggered and logged in the Playback timeline that when I start the file I don't get the previous 30 seconds. I have to manual backtrack before the event trigger to actually see what happened. Is this becasue I have 7x24 general recording enabled? Or is this normal no matter what?
