First post.
I have a Hikvision NVR with all Hikvision IP cameras. Recently I upgraded my 8 channel (DS-7608NI-Q2/8P V3.xx) to a 16 Channel (DS-7616NI-Q2/16P V4.72).
All cameras are set for motion recording, and all have been pretty good about false recording until the new NVR.
The biggest offenders, I have two cameras (PCI-T15F2S V5.5.150) that will record solid for anywhere from 2-7 hours straight. Nothing is there. Sensitivity is at 20%. These cameras have the blue line for recording field rather than the red squares, so I can’t see what is tripping it. However, Ince these have been up for a year and had no problems till the NVR switch, I think it has nothing to do with the camera seeing motion.
Recording schedule is 24/7 event. If I disable motion detection, obviously it stops, but re enabling it it goes immediately back to recording. There is NOTHING that would trip it to record.
Any Ideas?
