Pretty impressed with the Nest Outdoor Cam so far. While $200 is really more than I would like to put out, the Nest at least preforms well, even under 55 MPH winds today.

The interface is basic, but is very responsive and the people detection so far is 100% with no false events. Connection via my Ubuquity Wifi is fast and reliable.

Daytime quality is great, nighttime is acceptable.

Here's a timelapsefrom today. Timelapse function is a little weird, the the results are very nice.

and a public view of my Nest PierCam

I am looking for the best cameras to install on the dock at our new lake house with blue iris, but the night vision is important to me. Any sample clips available?
