Just curios on this specs here:

4Mp HD Lens
With IR Cut, 1080p/25fts

Are those specs for a starlight ip camera?

Can you provide a link to the camera you are talking about?

I don't have a link, is just some advertising from someone that i don't know from China that he/her is selling that hd ip fixed lens and is starlight version.
And out of curiosity i could not compare with some of the dahua cheap starlight brands...

The only thing is can see is the IR looks weak at 20m. There is no way of knowing with the information you have given. I have bought three different brand cameras with the IMX291 chip. Price ranging from ~50$ for a wifi and up to 110 for a 4X ptz (wifi). All thee of them have different features unique to them, but nothing special.

If you are looking to experiment, buy it. If you are looking for regular usage, buy a recommended camera, not just brand, but recommended camera model.

Yes, if buy just to experiment! I know Dahua is way better than this, but just to compare, test, etc the specs.
Was curios what makes a camera to be a star light,
