I'm looking at cameras from LTS and can't decide between the 2. On the one hand, the 9142 is easier to install because I won't need the junction box. The 1142 is a turrent design which won't stick out as much. The 9142 has 2 matrix IR's. The one 1142 I have with only 1 IR has been fine. The furthest I'd probably need the IR is maybe 75'? More realistically it'll be more in the 30 foot range. Also, I have some Lorex bullet cameras and haven't had any spider or bug problems which is why I'm looking at the 9142 now. I was dead set on the 1142 until this morning. Anyone have anything to push the vote in favor of one over the other?
