Hi Guys,
I've been browsing these forums for a long time on and off (mainly from google searches) over the years, and figured I might as well join up so I can actually get involved.
I usually work on medium to large DV systems (50-2000 cameras, multiple camera servers, large storage SAN's etc) however I recently got a system to have at home. And I don't have deep enough pockets to afford the software I work with every day haha.
I ended up getting a 16 channel Dahu NVR, and a few of the cheap 8K 2.8mm cameras (again, very different to what i'm used to working with) But It looked to have the features I was interested in having, at a price point that I could chalk up to experience if it didn't work out!
Now it's time for me to head over to the NVR section and post a thread about why this damn thing is recording multiples of the same IVS tripwire event! See you around!
