Hi I'm upgrading from a traditional D1 CCTV with bnc cameras to a Dahua Pro NVR and 4mp Dahua Cameras I was tempted by the new Dahua 12mp 30x PTZ Laser but the price mark just a bit too much for me but nice camera

Hi and welcome.... Before you purchase your cameras, just a suggestion are they going outdoor or indoor? If outdoor the 2mp Starlight would be a better purchase.

Thanks for the suggestion I did consider these but had already purchased 2 x Dahua H2.65 IPC-HDBW4431R-ZS IP Camera 2.8mm ~12mm varifocal because of the enclosed dome and years of annoying cobwebs on the cameras on my old system

quite happy with the night illumination even though not Starlight Cameras
I have an auto tracking PTZ camera on route
