Yeah, this is not the greatest area, but this is far above and beyond the norm

It is a shame when people like you that make a big investment in the home with all the improvements you have done to have this nonsense bring down the whole neighborhood. I am sure you could never re-create what you have now for what you could sell for.

Reminds me of Chicago, and a lot of the suburbs. Happens so frequently in areas people don't even bother to say anything. That and if they do say anything there's a good chance they're next.
I guess I really don't have any complaints next to what you have to deal with. I have the occasional kids run through the front and side yards and of course the questionable repeat traffic to and from the other end of the street, but no gunfire - yet.
I would hazard a guess that much of this is likely weapons not purchased legally. I think unfortunately, the decision on how they handle this may end up impacting legally abiding current and future gun owners in some way.
Guns are illegal, cars are illegal, and.... well, I can't be racist with the next truth
