hi, i had a p1448 with license plate verifier but the camera is broken. can i somehow (i have ssh access) transfer the license key to my new camera?

The license key is tied to the serial number of your camera. How old is the P1448 and where did you buy it? Do you still have the license code for the License Plate Verifier app? When/where did you buy the license plate verifier code?

Also, how is the P1448 broken?

The P1448 was working for many years without any issues. problem is that there was a leak in the tube which provides the cables to the camera. water came in and that caused the damage. the exact date when i bought it i cant tell. should be 2017 or 2018 around i guess. i have 16 axis cameras for my house so i cant remember exaclty when i bought the P1448le . the seller was german protect.
yes, i have the original serial for license plate verifier and this company might also be the seller of the license.

I'm not sure if you can transfer the license once it's activated. I'll try and find out and let you know. I would recommend reaching out to German Protect to see if they can help you.

Which model camera did you replace the P1448 with? If the new camera is compatible with License Plate Verifier you can activate a 60-day free trial in the meantime by downloading the app and registering it on the product registration page- AXIS License Plate Verifier - Product support | Axis Communications

The P1448 has a 5-year warranty but usually water damage won't be covered if it even still within the warranty period.
