I got a new truck and I've been building a backyard shed to clear out the garage so I can get my truck in there - looks like I can't get it done fast enough.

I am very sorry for this. We just had our roof replaced in June...ouch. I as well, am planning on building a shed in the backyard so I can park in our garage. Freak'n hail.

I intensely dislike the sound of hail.
Hello neighbor, I'm in Richardson, less than 2 miles from the Collin County line.
I have found 4 dents so far.
Years back I had one bust my windshield...and leave numerous dents too on a truck I had. Strangely they weren't even as big as yours, guess it it the glass just right.
When I first saw it I thought is was one of the neighborhood kids throwing rocks again.
Yeah they were big, I sure wasn't gonna run out there, they could have knocked me out, well, maybe a little exaggeration.
I was in Denver back in the 1990's when a big hailstorm blew in. They destroyed a green house, knocked down a life flight helicopter, broke windows on cars, broke bones on people that were on a ferris wheel, and dented up my rental car quite good. The stones were about the size that you showed, or a little bigger.
