Hi
I have an NVR from Dahua, model DHI-NVR5832-4KS2, but unfortunately, I have forgotten the password.
I want to reset it manually, but I couldn't find a reset button or pins on the device's board.
Please help me on how to reset this device?
Old school method on a PC was to remove the battery for about a minute then do what @wittaj stated above. Always do it with the power cord disconnected.

Couple of things and rare. But can you confirm that your NVR don't have a Reset button on the Bottom of the case? If it did it would be a hole that says Reset.. If it don't can you locate C39 and take a picture of that area and upload so I can see. While that is a High HDD device most of the NVRs I have dealt with have 1 common thing with the reset and that is C39...
Next some DVR/NVRs didn't have reset because they were built into the NVRs software with Email or other methods.. QR code scanning and other things.. What is the year of your NVR? Form what I can see it is 2021. Not sure that will have Hardware Reset.
There could be a method of Reset using UART. Keep in mind doing so could Brick the device.
IF you have the tools could do a software dump of the NVR and remove the passwords that way and put the patched software back in. Again this is risky can cause damage that could be un-repairable..
When you setup your NVR did you use a pattern? Setup Security Questions? or add an email? All these steps can solve your issue without anyone besides you.. If no and I am guessing not seeing you are here. Then could try UART
