I'm doing a Blue Iris NVR for a setup with ~30 cameras and I'm wondering what sort of hardware is necessary to run this smoothly. I've done systems with 12 cams but never 30.
Is a single i7-7700K processor and 16gb memory sufficient? Do any of the Xeon processors offer better performance for this type of video processing task? Can Blue Iris take advantage of multiple processors?
