Looking at adding 60-80 more cameras to a existing 38 camera setup. What is the recommended specs for a 64 camera setup(assuming standard 1080p cameras). Skylake/kabylake i7 seems like the go to for 15-25 cameras but i didn't see any builds going much higher.

No it wont...i dont think you understand the limitations of a standalone nvr vs pc based nvr software.

It will vary by frame rates, whether or not you will be keeping the console open etc...you are probably better if splitting the load over a few servers...this also gives you some redundancy if you have a failure, only 1/2 or 1/3 of your cams go down.
