Hello,
I'm looking to get a rather cheap pc to use it almost exclusively for a camera setup.
I have 8-10 1mp cameras that i intend to use for live view, only one camera will be recording.
Will the live view run smooth with this configuration:
i5-2400 3.1GHz, 4GB DDR3, 250GB, on-board graphics

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forumHow much are you paying for that?
You can get a modern haswell i5-4590 for about 300...with warranty.

Thanks for the welcome.
I would be paying around 300usd for that, with warranty. I live in Romania and the prices are higher here, i'm guessing an i5-4590 would be around 400
Forgot to mention, i intend to use it with Blue Iris

If the difference is 100 dollars buy the i5-4590...you will be better off in the long term.
