The video I posted above is as good as it'll get in the current conditions (no ir/light fixtures shining n the area where the camera is facing).
Like I said in the earlier post, I did not set my expectations too high for the night videos.
If you have adequate lighting/ir for the area you want to cover, it will work fine.
The one mounted on my garage uses the ir from the 5231ze (when it points that way).
Also, when the motion detection light from the backdoor turns on, it switches to color.
This 404 may or may not work for you (too many variables).
These cam are sufficient for my needs (for now).
The hardest part of pulling the wires are done, if and when the cameras die, it'll take about 5 minutes to swap them out.
