Any instructions would be much appreciated.

I have just bought this camera and would like to learn how to set it up before its delivered.

I have seen in a few places some people are able to configure it, if there is anyone here with that experience, please share.

That is not a popular camera so its unlikely anyone reading this has set it up.
Since the camera is not on the dropdown list, try using the amovision c7-310 rtsp option which has an identical rtsp url
If that doesnt work try the generic rtsp and use this as the path /ch0_0.h264

I ended up getting my hands on one of these cameras for free. I was going to test it out and write a review on this forum until I plugged it in and it directed to me a Chinese based website telling me I had to register for an account to view my camera. So I did what I thought was right.... Unplugged it and tossed it in the garbage. Not saying you should do the same, but I didn't feel comfortable having to sign up on a Chinese website to view my camera.

Thanks for your help guys. I will take this on board, however will try to give it a shot anyways. I read in a few places that it is possible to get this to work with BI, but was trying to find the process. Will keep searching.

Thanks

Good luck, perhaps we can still help. When you get the camera up running there should be ways to get it working with BI.

BTW I hope you don't think I was trying to be rude with my previous response.

Thanks and apologies for not replying to your post. I will need to familiar myself with rtsp as I usually use IP, username and pass on the blue Iris admin.

Absolutely not. that didnt even cross my mind. We all have individual experiences for all the kit we buy :)

I could say that about a cheap good spec chinese mobile phone I bought earlier, but that is another story altogether.

FYI - I was able to get two of these $49.99 Yi Home Cameras (http://www.amazon.com/YI-Home-Camera-Official-U-S/dp/B016F3M7OM) working with BI. I followed the directions here (http://en.miui.com/thread-196713-1-1.html). All you have to do is put a directory (with a linux shell script) on a micro sd card and power cycle the camera. That patches it to enable RTSP (real time streaming protocol) which lets it work with BI or any other software. The patch is persistent so you can remove the card and power cycle the camera and it still works. Since you don't modify the firmware itself, the camera is still fully functional with the official mobile app. The BI config is pretty straight forward (http://imgur.com/XfUizd7); you get both video & audio. The camera itself is nice; matches the Dropcam WAF ("wife acceptance factor") at 1/4 the price. It's physically identical to a Dropcam HD (not the bigger Dropcam Pro or Nest Cam). Here's some pictures - https://goo.gl/L3laSZ.

Thank you so much for this! I actually went a slightly different patch and used the stuff I found here: https://github.com/fritz-smh/yi-hack

However, audio only works 1-way for me (while using the mobile app). Audio recorded BY the camera I can hear through the mobile app. However, I would like (if at all possible) to also be able to talk through my phone and have the audio play out the speaker...is that possible? Is it working using the firmware mod you provided? Thanks!!
