Have I messed up unmanaged switch?

I have bought DGS-1008P (unmanaged) and two Hikvision DS-2CD2032F-I now when putting the switch on the network via a powerline and connecting the two cameras I can not see any ips through through my main router admin page.

If I try connecting by SAPD I see the two cameras with ips of 192.0.0.64 and port 8000 why do the cameras not have there own ips is this because the switch is unmanaged and I shouldn't of bought unmanaged? or am I doing something wrong? I cant connect to the switches admin page either or if it even has one?

Any help appreciated I have basic network knowledge.
 
You need to give your cameras an IP using SADP before they will show up in your router. They have no address by default until you set one. If they are showing up in SADP then everything is fine, you just need to finish setting up the cameras now.
 
Yes managed to work that out thanks for your reply. Now just trying to get them to save to ftp.
