Managed to get a couple of these installed at last, any tips on settings, I am struggling during sunlight to stop blown highlights/over exposure. I run manual exposure and short of reducing the exposure compensation it is still a struggle compared to my 5231's. Also tried WDR but I'm not a fan, maybe I still need to have a play with settings on these cameras. Daytime settings below:

In manual mode I run these settings:

Been pretty impressed otherwise, night performance seems good, I increased bit rate in VBR to give it plenty of chance at high quality.

Any tips welcome, thanks in advance.

Let's see some pics of your field of view and other settings.

Are you running default for brightness, gamma, contrast, etc.?

Updated, just wondered if anyone had some advice or had experienced the same. Plenty of experience with 5231's and others, never had quite this level of blown highlights though.

Without seeing your field of view, it is a crapshoot on suggestions.

I have one field of view with bright and dark shadow that I run the brightness down around 40 with contrast at 50 and gamma at 40. With a WDR setting of 1.

Understand, would rather not post images but will adjust the brightness and exposure compensation tomorrow to see how that works out. WDR was set to 2 earlier but just seemed to wash out the shadows way too much.
