I found this forum AFTER setting up a little system. 27 IP cameras spread out over 8 different locations and running on BI.
This has been my 1 and only system setup.

Had I known about this great resource, it would have really helped with the learning curve!

I hope to continue to learn and tweak our system to get the most out of it.

any more details on the setup? camera types(3mp, 2mp,etc..?) blueiris machine specs (processor?)

Sure, thanks for the interest.
Cameras are a mixture of Trendnet TVIP321PI and TVIP320PI. Feeding thru Trendnet TPE-s44 POE Switches.
For the PC, it is just an old Dell PC we had laying around. Now that we have the system up and running, we will upgrade the PC but for now, it is OK.

EDIT: Forgot to add it is all being monitored on a 40 inch tv screen.
