I am looking to install an IP PoE camera system around my house.
My requirements are pretty simple, I want to put a camera on each corner of the house to view along each side.
-I can run the wire, the attic already has a poe switch in it for POE access points. I can install more as needed.
-I am pretty savvy, 20 years in IT
-100/10 internet
-The initial four cameras I want to basically look along each side of house, house is 32' on a side.
-I want nvr
-I want motion detect with alert, preferably by an app
-remote view of recorded event
-live view
I'd very much prefer a rolled solution, camera's an nvr, not have to manage an os and an app, etc...
Figure a budget of 1200 bucks give or take.
Thoughts on this, I see the dahua cameras seem to be highly regarded and I'm good with that.
I tried reading a bunch of threads on here but frankly its overwhelming the number of different models there are...
