Hello!

My Names Chris, I Have a background in Computers and servers are no issue setting up and maintaining. Although Blue Iris doesn't really document well what everything is. Especially in the mobile app.

I was using cheap YI Home Cameras in my apartment after some painters entered my apartment unannounced while my wife was sleeping during the day. I did some research and came across Blue iris and then I got the Itch to upgrade because the YI Cameras were storing the Footage on the camera them selves so if some one took the cameras i would have no way of reviewing the footage.

So I bought

Wansview Wireless Indoor 1080p Camera $34.99
Wansview Wireless Outdoor 1080p Camera $54.99

I needed to go wireless because I'm in an apartment and cant drill holes for wires.

These are fantastic for the price! 8x better than the YI Home 1080p Cameras that I was using before.

Anyways there's my story and I'm sure you'll see me around here every now and then.

Is there any documentation on the software it self? like an owners manual?

Wanswiew is bottom barrel garbage with FAKE reviews Fakespot | Wansview Wireless Security Camera 1080p Wifi Home Security Indoor Camera For Fake Review Analysis
see the annke cube thread (its a rebranded hikvision, otherwise annke is garbage as well)...its 50 - with a built in pir sensor.
Any camera can be made wireless by using a 10 dollar wifi bridge or powerline adapters...you will still need to run power...
