Hello from an island in the Bahamas....

First time here, located on an island in Bahamas trying to set up Hikivision
DS-2332-I camera, but seemed to have lost password....will be requesting/begging for help in Forum.....but nice to know this site is available.

welcome. the default password will be 12345 or 123456789abc on newer units,
but that doesn't help if the password was previously changed from the default
(which it should have been if previously installed...)

Guess I need to keep trying every possible password I have ever used...

HOWEVER.....with all my questions, got to thinking...Is there anyway to just set this camera back to Factory Defaults?

There should a hardware reset button somewhere, but i don't know where it is on the turret (may need to open it up).
On my 2032 bullet's it's under the little access port where one would insert an sd-card.
"Unplug the POE cable, press the reset button, plug the POE cable back in and hold the button for 10 seconds."

I have a 4mp and it has a reset button on the cable. You need to remove power, hold button, apply power while holding button, keep holding for 15-30 seconds
