Well I guess I need to admit to myself I'm a camera guy now. I'm a network engineer for the city and have been taking on more and more camera projects with our law enforcement looking to expand their surveillance coverage. I'm most familiar with Axis cameras and the Genetec platform but with all the new projects coming down the line I'm going to need a better awareness of what the industry looks like. I'll be popping in with some questions, rants etc. so bear with my newbieness and if you have any networking questions I'm glad to offer any help I can.
