Hi everyone, I'm from Nashville, TN and I found this forum through doing some digging into a custom home security system. I'm hoping to get some recommendations out of the many informed enthusiasts here! I'll look for a section designed specifically for recommendations first, though. Happy to be here and I hope I learn a lot!

For a little light reading (being a little funny with this) have a look in the Wiki, in the blue bar at the top of the page. It covers just about every aspect of video surveillance systems. The camera models mentioned are a generation old, but the principals still apply.
