Help.. ANPR setup using IPC-LPR237B-IR

Working on getting my ANPR camera setup and having yet not found a good walkthru of "how to" I am stumbling... Currently trying to figure out why the camera will capture images and plates of passing vehicles but instead records the plate number of the parked car while capturing the plate of the passing truck... Among many of my questions... Any help with this one please!

So I just put the area where a car may park in an exclusion zone as a workaround, except that I am worried that it overlaps where vehicles will be travelling.
