Please, someone help me!" I bricked my VTH1550CH while updating the firmware. Now the screen is black, it keeps rebooting, and when I ping it, I see the device turning off and on again. What can I do?

No it's a protocol that works over the network. I'd start by contacting your supplier for help.
If I wanted to call the supplier (who, by the way, doesn’t provide support), I wouldn’t have written on this forum. Don’t you think?

VTH/VTO's are notoriously challenging / frustrating devices when it comes to software updates. Some suppliers do provide support. These devices also aren't very popular in the USA where the majority of this forum's users are located.
