dedicated 1500vac sine-wave battery backups for your NVR/Blue Iris machine, for Ubiquiti 24 port POE switch #1, for Ubiquiti 24 port POE switch #2. Gotta split POE sources between cameras incase of failure. Might as well get a Ubiquiti router to make it a ecosystem.

20 SD8 PTZ's!

If really want to go down rabbit hole, have a DJI drone on standby to fly out to investigate things. A cute little hangar for it that auto-deploys. Model railroad people & cars around it to make it look sexy.

New Information!

Turns out, this money isnt going to go far. I found out that it is federal grant money and it requires NDAA and TAA compliance. Which includes internal chipsets. So no Dahua, hikvision, Huawei, ZTE, Hytera products. YIKES!

Now my journey begins to find NDAA and TAA compliant cameras.....

Brands so far:
  • Avigilon
  • Axis Communications [4]
  • BCD International
  • Commend
  • FLIR
  • iryx
  • Mobotix
  • Seek Thermal
  • Solink
  • WatchGuard
  • 360 Vision Technology
  • Optiview
