Hi experts, I would have a question.
In our second house I have an old DAHUA system, as follows:
DVR DHI-NVR4108-8P-4KS2 System version 3.215.0000000.1 (Build date: 02-09-2017)
Cameras: DH-IPC-HFW1435SP-W (2.460.0000.0.R, Build Date: 2016-12-28)
As one of the cams died, I bought a newer model:
IPC-HFW2431S-S-S2 (V2.820.0000000.48.R, Build Date: 2022-06-14)
It kind of works, but when the DVR selects the substream, the image has a more square aspect ratio with black bars at the sides. Unfortunately the DVR does select the substream at times, since the 8 cams are probably too much to decode in HD.
I tried most combinations of settings, to no avail.
Any suggestions? AFAIK, there is no new firmware for the DVR.
