Hello and salam Dear Members , iam new on this forum , iam having some real prob after ive purchased 3 ip cams Hikvision DS-2CD2632F-IS and two pieces on DS-2CD232F-Iw , cams were working great b4 i ve tried to upgrade them to newer firmware , 2 of them are now bricked one working flawlessly coz i did not tried any experiment or upgrade , cameras shiped with v.5.3.0_150513 and as per logic i tried IPC_R0_EN_STD_5.3.0_150814 , some how it sucked in between and did not upgrade properly ,

probably i hast rebooted automatically or whatever ... so i tried Tftp and applied almost every firmware 5.30 Downgrade and 5.30_Downgrader_to_5.2.5_multilanguage , IPC_R0_EN_STD_5.3.3_150929 each and every firmware fails , sir kindly tell me what to do to save my cams ill b so thankfull to u.

Here are the log files for u to see what is the prob

A) sometimes it stucks on Completed file[C:\5.30 Downgrader\digicap.dav] transmit
i waited almost 30 min but nothing possitive


b) 192.0.0.64 ping losts after Completed file[C:\5.30 Downgrader\digicap.dav] transmit

c) sometimes cam show ip on sadp 192.168.1.64 and firmware 4.8.1 there i cant change it , tried every password 12345 by default
 
well it means , No 1 in this forum has the answer yet . don't know whats in the mind of hikvision company , are we trying to jailbreak device or any type of cracking , we are just applying the firmware they issued , serious trouble
 
@alastairstevenson I ve done what exactly what written, although if it would have working then there should be modded dav file lang to 2 in this forum by any one ,
ive coppied .dav file in hiktools folder set command of backup then for change lang successfully , but same results on tftp , m i missing anything or its just my luck ?

That has worked OK for many people who have seen the same symptoms that you have described.
Did you use the firmware in the first link, the '1-line' version? That has been known to work best.
Changing the language of the header just takes a minute or 2.
 
Trying from 10 days, ive changed many dav files lnag to 2 some to 1 nothing positive, finally succeeded with 5.30 Downgrader file ( lang changed via hiktools ) job completed in 2 min ,my both cams now come alive thanks to alastairstevenson he provided hiktools , file attached for trouble shooters
