Serious stuff yes.
Minor annoyances go hand-in-hand with Hikvision Chinese models and also with Hikvision firmware on English models.
You might be able to get it to work, or you might not. That's how serious. Whereas with a xxx2 camera, you can get it to work but might be a pain.
Actually, I have DS-2CD3335-I and it didn't work with all the NVRs.
