That's because it does not have those abilities.

i cant find smart tracking in the settings , looks like different camera versions !
mine is DS-2DE4220IW-DE
i forget to compare firmware version, i will check and check again

Did you ever get the smart tracking issue sorted? I have the same camera and want to use smart tracking, is it available in a firmware update?
