HFW1320 Motion detect settings

I'm playing with motion detect and record feature of this camera
All is working fine, except for a lot of false detections due to insects or rain drops into capture area.

What are your usual settings in sensitivity and treshold ? (mine Sens. 60 - Treshold 4)
How specifically these two settings act ??

Motion detection for outside is a very bad option, not only insects or rain can trigger the channel but also trees and sun changes.
The best option is connect a PIR sensor but as that camera doesn't have alarm connector, try using line crossing detection or intrusion detection. You will get false detections too but no as much as motion detection if you set it properly.
