A storm passed through and my HFW5241E-Z12E stopped working. Here’s my troubleshooting so far:
Ping fails and says, “Host is down”.
Logging in using a browser says the IP is unreachable.
ARP –a returns “incomplete” for the camera’s IP.
From the street, I can see the red LEDs so I’m assuming power is reaching the camera but the IP isn’t making the connection.
I plugged the cat5 cable into my Mac and it easily connected to the home network.
My next step was going to be taking it down for a reset but I wanted to see if there were other steps I should try first. Thanks!
