Hi all,
CCTV noob here. I'm in a very safe community and my friends think it's silly getting security cams. So I need online friends who get it.
So this seems like a very Dahua-centric forum. Curious why that is. I read the wiki, but it doesn't really explain why that's the best NVR company to go with. Amazon reviews aren't all that great (or even numerous) versus, say, Reolink. Hikvision reviews are pretty spotty too.
Anyway just curious, is this like an Intel vs AMD fanboy war thing, or are there some real objective reasons why everyone here apparently uses the Dahuas?
Currently I just have like 3 Wyze cams. Measure twice, cut once!
Edit: I also have a SkyBell doorbell cam.
