Hi everyone, been a lurker for a while but finally setup my first IP Camera after a lengthy renovation. I'm using an Hikvision 2132 with SecuritySpy on Mac OS X on an older unused laptop and so far its looking great. I've ran the wiring for 2 more locations so far and I just wanted to test this one out for a while before I get a few more cameras.

Welcome to the forum! That's a nice crisp image...How do you like security spy..we often has folks looking for mac software....How is it on cpu with the 3mp cam?

Thanks to all, the CPU is a Core 2 Duo and is getting a workout for sure right now. I plan to move it to an i7 machine shortly. SecuritySpy is a great little program, that is VERY configurable and straight forward. The guy who writes it get back to you via Twitter or email extremely fast. I also bought an iOS app (Remote Patrol) to see things while away. So far so good.
