Hi guys I just joined because i recently bought a NVR and IP cameras, no matter what they say, they are NOT simply plug and play like a coax system, they are nothing but stressful to setup, hoping to get some advice from you experienced guys and i'll be posting in the appropriate forums next.

They are plug and play...for plug and play operation you need to match the NVR and cameras and you need to hook the cameras directly to the nvr.
